At Mischief, Managed LLC., we care deeply about your pet’s health and safety while in our care. For this reason, we have implemented a strict policy for routine preventative veterinary care. We recommend that vaccines are given at least 10-14 days prior to service to ensure effectiveness. In addition, we ask that your pets are free of external and internal parasites prior to service and that they are on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives as recommended by your veterinarian.
The vaccine requirements are as follows, and you must provide a copy of records from your veterinarian prior to service:
DOGS:
Daycare/Boarding services, including Day Training and Board and Train:
Rabies (in accordance with Indiana state law)
DAPP/DHPP (Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine)
Bordetella (“Kennel Cough”)
We also require that your dog’s stool is checked annually for intestinal parasites.
We accept titers in lieu of vaccines.
In-home Training/In-home pet care:
Rabies (in accordance with Indiana state law)
DAPP/DHPP (Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine)
*Puppies under 16 weeks old: Must have started on the DAPP/DHPP vaccine series, and be deemed healthy by a licensed veterinarian. Please update us as your puppy receives subsequent vaccines. The Rabies vaccine is required by Indiana state law at 16 weeks of age.
CATS:
Rabies (in accordance with Indiana state law)
FVRCP
All cats must have been previously tested for FIV/FeLV.
OTHER/EXOTICS:
Must have been examined by a licensed veterinarian within the past year.
